SUMMER TIMELINE
Welcome to the Rutgers University–Camden New Student Newsletter! Throughout the summer, the Office of Admissions will send you these emails with important information to help you prepare for your first semester as a Scarlet Raptor.
To get started, we’ve provided a brief timeline of what you can expect during the summer. Keep in mind that your requirements or expectations might be different depending on your program.
COMPLETE YOUR NEXT STEPS
You can view your enrollment steps (like taking your placement test and submitting your final transcript) on your myRutgers dashboard.
STUDENT & FAMILY ORIENTATION
Incoming on-campus students should plan to attend an in-person orientation designed to help you transition successfully to Rutgers–Camden. Students in the College of Arts & Sciences or the School of Business can register and select between July 8th and August 3rd. The orientation for School of Nursing students is on August 4th with no registration required. Families are also welcome!
RAPTOR WELCOME
On Thursday, September 1st, you won’t want to miss Raptor Welcome! This fun and engaging event will give you the opportunity to meet future classmates and become more familiar with campus.
CONVOCATION
The Chancellor wants to welcome you to Rutgers–Camden on Thursday, September 8th during this formal ceremony with speakers, performances, and a picnic social.

VACCINE INFO
Be sure to review your requirements for immunization records and updated policies surrounding vaccines.
