ADVISING & COURSE REGISTRATION

The fall semester at Rutgers University–Camden is just over a month away, and we want to make sure that you have everything completed before you can meet with your academic advisor to select and schedule your courses. Your specific next steps will be based on your school of admission, program, and prior coursework, so be sure to check your myRutgers dashboard to know exactly what you need to do to be fully enrolled. All new students are required to meet with an advisor to register for classes and to review your upcoming fall schedule. Even if you’ve met with your advisor already and picked our your classes, it’s always a good idea to review your checklist.

Whether you’re a first-year Political Science student or a transfer student in an off-campus Business Administration program, your advisor will be there for you throughout your academic career at Rutgers–Camden. They will help guide you in course selection so that you are on track to achieve your goals!

NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM

If you are an on-campus student in the College of Arts & Sciences* or the School of Business, you will need to complete the New Student Registration Form before you will be able to meet with your academic advisor.

*Students in the Honors College and College of Arts & Sciences do not have to complete the New Student Registration Form. The Honors College will contact these students directly to schedule advising.

SCHOOL OF NURSING

Course schedules will be created for incoming on-campus Nursing students by their advisors due to the structure of their curriculum. Many of your next steps, requirements, and questions will be addressed during the School of Nursing Orientation on August 4th. For questions about this orientation, please email camden-orientation@camden.rutgers.edu

OFF-CAMPUS STUDENTS

Students in off-campus programs should reach out directly to the advisor at their program location.
