ON-CAMPUS JOBS & THE RAPTOR AMBASSADORS
At Rutgers University–Camden, all students have the opportunity to make their voice heard and make a lasting impact on our community. One of the best ways to get involved is through an on-campus job! There are opportunities across campus for students regardless of eligibility for the Federal Work Study Program. Our Career Center is hosting an on-campus job fair on Friday, September 9th at 11:00AM. If you are eligible for Work Study, those positions will be posted in the middle of August.
RAPTOR AMBASSADORS
The Raptor Ambassador program offers an exciting opportunity to work on campus! Raptor Ambassadors work within the Office of Admissions and alongside professional staff by interacting with prospective students and families through tours, events, and web content. Ambassadors gain professional experience, forge connections across campus, serve as leaders of the community, and share the unique opportunities that Rutgers–Camden has to offer! Students are trained to give campus tours, assist with event programming, and are assigned to a specialized area within the department for their day-to-day responsibilities. These areas include:
- The Welcome Center
- Events and Visits
- Communications and Design
- Document Management
- New Student Onboarding
Ambassadors also have the opportunity to express themselves creatively through the development and planning of events and social media content including The Raptor’s Nest blog and YouTube channel. Work schedules are flexible and are built around students’ classes. The deadline to submit your application is Friday, August 19, 2022.
