STUDENT SUPPORT
Welcome to the family edition of Rutgers University–Camden New Student Newsletter! In the coming months, the Office of Admissions will send you these emails with important information to help you and your student prepare for their first semester as a Scarlet Raptor.
The dedicated staff and faculty at Rutgers University–Camden want to make sure that your student has all the resources that they need to succeed! We’re excited to share with you stories of students engaging in civic learning projects, faculty making cutting-edge breakthroughs in their fields, and all of the hands-on research opportunities that your student will have as a Scarlet Raptor. So, how do they get there and make the most of their time at Rutgers–Camden? Since you’re a member of our family, we’re here to show you!
STUDENT ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The Division of Student Academic Success helps students visualize and achieve their goals! This division oversees Disability Services, the Office of Experiential Learning, the Student Success Coaches, and much more.
CENTER FOR LEARNING
For tutoring and academic coaching, your student will want to check out the Center for Learning and Student Success (CLASS). They also have online resources that cover effective time management, study skills, and other crucial tips for success.
STUDENT WELLNESS CENTER
The staff in the Student Wellness Center are dedicated to the medical and mental health of Rutgers–Camden students.
DEAN OF STUDENTS
The Dean of Students Office helps maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment. They also have resources for the families of current students.
CAREER CENTER
Our support doesn’t stop once your student has graduated! The Career Center helps students explore options for careers by offering trainings, workshops, and professional development at any point during their Rutgers–Camden journey.

ONE STOP SHOP
Our One Stop Student Services Center is where to go for Financial Aid, Student Accounting, and the Registrar!
VACCINE INFO
Be sure to review your requirements for immunization records and updated policies surrounding vaccines.
POINTS OF SCARLET PRIDE
- Rutgers–Camden was recently named the #1 Most Affordable College in New Jersey by Academic Influence.
- The new Experiential Scholarship is available to all full-time Rutgers–Camden undergraduate students and allows you to get hands-on experience and grow professionally. Be sure to check out all of our scholarship and financial aid options.
- One of our graduating seniors, Teresa Osorio, was just accepted into the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program, one of the highest honors available to undergraduate students.
