HOW TO READ YOUR FINANCIAL AID AWARD
At Rutgers University–Camden, we want to prepare you to begin your journey with us. If we have received your FAFSA and have not requested any additional documents, your Financial Aid Award Letter is ready. You can view your Award Letter in your Financial Aid Portal. Here’s how:
- Login to your myRutgers account with your NetID and password then locate the My Financial Aid widget. Be sure to activate your NetID first.
- Click Award Detail and Information on the Award tab.
- Any of your required or completed actions will be displayed Home page of the Financial Aid Portal.
- Drop down the View More Programs menu and select your Camden school(s) of admission.
- Click on the Financial tab to view your Award Package, estimated cost of attendance (COA), and when you’re scheduled to receive your financial aid.

Our dedicated financial aid staff members are available to assist with questions or concerns related to financial aid awards. Reach out by submitting an inquiry through the One Stop Student Services Center!
NEW STUDENT SURVEY
We want to know more about you and your goals! Be sure to complete the College Student Inventory form before the fall so we can best prepare to support your journey.
SUBMIT FINAL OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
All students are required to submit final official transcripts. High school transcripts must list all final grades and graduation completion. College transcripts must include all final grades and degrees earned. It takes 4-6 weeks for transcripts to be processed and the student portal to be updated.

Student Orientation, Advising, and Registration (SOAR)
SOAR will be your chance to meet with your academic advisor for course registration. Invitations for this event will be sent directly to you.
Raptor Welcome
August 31st – All students enrolled in on-campus programs are invited to join their fellow Scarlet Raptors at this can’t-miss tradition! Register now!
Convocation
September 12th – This formal ceremony for all incoming students led by Chancellor Tillis is sure to be a memorable occasion.

Be sure to review your requirements for immunization records and updated policies surrounding vaccines.
POINTS OF SCARLET PRIDE
- Rutgers–Camden was one of 34 colleges and universities to receive the 2023 U.S. Department of State’s Increase and Diversify Education Abroad (IDEAS) Program grant to continue to develop and expand our learning abroad opportunities.
- The Student Wellness Center at Rutgers–Camden is expanding mental health and counseling support services with funding from a $344,000 grant by the State of New Jersey Office of the Secretary of Higher Education.
