FACULTY & RESEARCH AT RUTGERS–CAMDEN
Your future professors at Rutgers University–Camden are world-class researchers that lead in their fields. With our small class sizes and close-knit campus, you’ll have the opportunity to work one-on-one with them. That’s how our students help shape the world through their research.
The Rutgers–Camden community is forging the future. Here are some recent research highlights from our faculty and your future professors:
- Biology. Professor of Biology Angélica González leads the GonzálezLAB for Integrative Ecology at Rutgers–Camden, where she focuses her research on understanding the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss around the world.
- Business. Distinguished professor Samuel Rabinowitz discusses how higher life expectancy and retirements ages have effected the workforce and the impact this has on businesses.
- Computer Science. Check out assistant professor of computer science Iman Dehzangi’s research on the importance of balancing the advantages and drawbacks of artificial intelligence to avoid bias and inequity.
- Humanities. Jim Brown, associate professor of English and Director of the Digital Studies Center, shares his expertise on privacy concerns with social media platforms like TikTok.
- Nursing. Shiela Linz and Bonnie Jerome-D’Emilia of the School of Nursing partnered with the Women’s Health Network of Jewish Family Services to study women’s experiences with breast cancer screenings and barriers to care for patients who struggle with mental illness.
