UNDERSTANDING FINANCIAL AID
At Rutgers University in Camden, we want to prepare you to begin your journey with us. If we have received your FAFSA and have not requested any additional documents, your Financial Aid Award Letter is ready (if eligible). You can view your Award Letter in your Financial Aid Portal. Here’s how:
- Click the Financial tab on the top menu to view your Award Package, estimated cost of attendance (COA), and when you’re scheduled to receive your financial aid.
- Log in to the myRutgers dashboard with your NetID and password. (Activate your NetID here.)
- Locate the My Financial Aid widget.
- Go to the Award tab within the widget and click Award Detail and Information which will bring you to the Financial Aid Student Portal.
TERM BILL
Registered students will receive an email when their term bill is available to view online using the Student Account System. Rutgers has created an online resource to help you understand your term bill. Only students registered for classes receive term bills.
Health Insurance: Rutgers University requires that all students either enroll in or waive the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) at the start of each semester. Students must visit University Health Plans to enroll or waive. You will see the Student Health Insurance Plan on your term bill unless you waive it.
Meal Plans: With one of our Meal Plan Program options, you’ll have access to a pre-paid account that can be used for buying meals on campus! Residential students automatically have a meal plan applied to their term bill, and commuter students can choose the plan that works best for them.
Parking Permits:
Fall 2024 parking permits will soon be available for purchase! There are options for residents parking a car on campus, commuting students, and students that take evening classes. Be sure to review where you can park with your specific permit. Log into your Parking Account with your NetID to buy a permit when they are available, register your vehicle, and be ready for the fall.
NEW STUDENT SURVEY
We want to know more about you and your goals! Be sure to complete the College Student Inventory form before the fall so we can best prepare to support your journey.
