The students of Rutgers Camden express themselves in many different ways. One of the biggest ways has been through music. Our campus’ wide love of music has grown so much that students were able to revive the WCCR, which is the official Rutgers-Camden online radio station. They have been hosting their own shows spinning records since the start of the semester. One of these shows is called “ DO YOUR HOMEWORK” where the students curate playlists with different genres of music for the entire campus to tune in to while they hit the books.
Our own love of music and the hard work of the WCCR inspired us to create a collaborative study playlist with our Rutgers-Camden students. To do this, some of us Raptor Ambassadors went around campus and asked students what was their favorite song on their own study playlist. We took these answers and complied them into one playlist with varying genres and artists.
Some of the top songs suggested by students were…
- Voodoo Child – Jimi Hendrix
- Free Mind – Tems
- Warning – The Notorious B.I.G

- Seek and Destroy – SZA
- Waiting for Love – Avicii
