Alana B.

Read Alana’s blog post.

Alana is from Pennsauken, New Jersey. She graduated from Rutgers–Camden May 2018 with her B.A. in Criminal Justice and B.A. in Sociology. She transferred to Rutgers–Camden after graduating from Camden County College. She found that her transition here was a very smooth process because of Rutgers–Camden’s large transfer student population. She worked as a Raptor Ambassador Leader and was also a member of the Criminal Justice Organization and Cheerleading Team. She’s also had the opportunity to work with the Camden County Women’s Center Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT), where she is still an active member.

The many chances to be involved on campus and in the surrounding city is one of the most rewarding things about going to school here. Rutgers–Camden has provided me with a well-rounded education and an abundance of experiences, both on and off campus. The best thing to enhance your education and experience as a student is to learn as much as you can about what Rutgers–Camden has to offer!
