Marina grew up in Egypt and then moved to West Deptford in New Jersey! She graduated from Rutgers–Camden May 2018 with her B.S. in Biology from and continued her academic career at the Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy starting fall 2019. She was a part of the Raptor Ambassadors Program for three years and was also very active around campus. She was a part of the Honors College, the President of Orthodox Christian Campus Ministries (OCCM), a Q-step scholar, and a member of the Student Health Advisory Board. She’s also had the opportunity to conduct independent research study with a professor in the Biology department her sophomore year, which she claims was a great learning experience.
