CONVOCATION | WELCOME HOME
Chancellor Antonio D. Tillis is excited to invite you to a special ceremony and celebration on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at the Athletic & Recreation Center. Let us know that you’re coming to the inaugural Rutgers–Camden Convocation by registering now! During this celebration, there will be food, giveaways, performances by students, and a word from Chancellor Tillis. Here’s the full schedule!
PRE-CEREMONY COHORT GATHERING
Want to attend Convocation with a built-in group? Come meet up with students, faculty, and staff prior to the 3:30pm Convocation ceremony! Groups like the Honors College, Learning Abroad, Fraternity & Sorority Life, and academic schools will have designated spots across campus for you to find, connect with, and head over to Convocation together.
CONVOCATION CEREMONY – 3:30 PM
During this formal ceremony, you’ll be joined by the Rutgers–Camden community to recognize the promise of a new beginning and share in eager anticipation of our journeys ahead. This is also the only time you can enter the raffles for prizes like Kite+Key gift cards, Raptor Dollars, and more!
WELCOME HOME CELEBRATION – 4:40 PM
Immediately following Convocation, the “Welcome Home” celebration will feature five food stations, Instagram-worthy photo backdrops, music, and prizes.
